Ratecards are used to create pricing for same day consignments in the system.
Rate Card Name: Such as "Customer Small Van"
Units: Set if this is based on Miles or KM
Minimum amount: The minimum charge for this rate card, meaning if the mileage rate comes under this the mileage rate is ignored. However once the mileage rate exceeds this amount it will be dropped.
Rounding: You can set the total charge to be rounded up to the nearest 10p 25p 50p or £1 i.e if the calculation is £13.56 and rouding to 25p will round to £13.75
Distance Rates: If you have staggered mileage rates i.e upto 10 miles is x, between 10 - 100 miles is Y and 100+ is Z, you can set if it charges Single rate over the distance (i.e 120 miles job will be 120 x Z), Charges all rates up to the distance (i.e 120 miles Will charge 10 miles a x, 90 miles at Y and 20 miles at Z)
Distance Rounding: None will charge the mileage rate at the exact mileage i.e a 10.4 mile job at £1 a mile will charge £10.4, if rounding is up to next mile, the mileage will round to 11 and will charge £11
Return Calculation: This defines how you want the return journey to calculate its price.
Percentage of standard rate for the actual return distance: On consignments traveling on a journey from A > B > C > A.
The real distance from C > A is calculated and the percentage of the rate charge per KM or Mile is charged on those miles.
Percentage of outbound charge: This essentially ignores the distance of the return leg and charges a percentage of the outbound amount for the return.
Fixed amount: Simply a flat rate.
Not Charged: Used where the rates are inclusive.
COA: Is the set cancellation fee
Waiting time per hour: Set the hourly waiting time for this service
Weight Charges: You can have Navigator calculate charges based on the total weight of the consignment you can opt to have your tariff in KG or Lbs.
Retail Percentage: Only relevant if this is a driver pay rate card and the driver is paid a percentage of the customer charge.
Distance: Allows you to configure your mileage rates between distances
Drops: Allows you to configure an additional drop rate on top of the mileage rate
Pieces: Allows you to configure a supplement for a particular number of pieces
Premium: Is a set fee that will always be added on top of the mileage rate etc. so unlike a minimum this does not get dropped if the mileage rate goes over this figure.
